Black Locust Is Blooming!

The photo at the top of the page is black locust in full bloom. They opened in New Hampshire this past week, and will be done in the next few days. If you want to know where these trees are, just look up. They are very easy to spot right now. This is my favorite wood, and one I seek constantly.

If you get close enough to touch the flowers, smell and taste them. There are good reasons why honeybees seek them out. Yes, they are edible, and quite tasty.
